With an all-out effort, Sandviken BF's Nils-Åke Sandberg threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roger Pettersson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 5 minutes, Kent Kellman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandviken BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Kellman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Pettersson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Sandberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Kellman charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Kellman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Sandviken BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Kellman to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Martinsson in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandviken BF's Kent Kellman got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Oskar Knutsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urban Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Åke Sandberg having to make a save. Roger Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Sandberg having to interfere. Nils-Åke Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Pettersson in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Sandviken BF's Freddy Argoitz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Åke Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sandviken BF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roger Pettersson hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Martinsson was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Sandviken BF got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Argoitz. Roger Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Åke Sandberg having to make a save. After some careless play in the Brålanda defense, Georg Eskilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Åke Sandberg. The Brålanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Åke Sandberg should have stopped the shot. Roger Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Sandberg having to interfere. Nils-Åke Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Pettersson in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Roger Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brålanda's Nils-Åke Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Nordkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandviken BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brålanda the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sandviken BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Brålanda's zone, Roger Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Sandberg came out of the goal and Roger Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskar Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Garaile having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Sandviken BF's goalkeeper Bernabe Garaile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Knutsson. The Brålanda fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Brålanda's Oskar Knutsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 100thth minute of the game Roger Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brålanda's Nils-Åke Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
