In the 3rd match minute, Vikmanshyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Norberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, one of Vikmanshyttan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vikmanshyttan. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Gatans Lag. Ivar Holm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Lundgren. 1-0. If Egon Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vikmanshyttan booed when Gatans Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Boman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Vikmanshyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Norberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gatans Lag getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Carl Boman hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Uggla in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Forsberg saved Gatans Lag from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Alvar Strand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatans Lag's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Strand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute of the match, Mats Dahlberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Lundgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 35 minutes, Mattias Hedlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikmanshyttan and the Gatans Lag players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gatans Lag booed when Vikmanshyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Dahlberg in the 45th minute of play forced Vikmanshyttan's goalkeeper Christian Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Gatans Lag's Karl Lindberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Lundgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Dahlberg to make the kick off. Mats Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Lundgren having to interfere. If Alvar Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Ugglas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Henning Forsberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zebastian Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Henning Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Mattias Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Egon Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Forsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Vikmanshyttan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
