In the 15th match minute, Brålanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Björk in the 22nd minute of play forced Brålanda's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Björnberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ivar Ahlström. After a defensive mix-up in Mårdaklev's zone, Oskar Knutsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Björnberg came out of the goal and Oskar Knutsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Urban Martinsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Einar Björnberg to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Britz in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Sandberg saved Brålanda from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Krister Vibjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Britz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 38 minutes, Carl Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mårdaklev's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Britz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mårdaklev's Einar Björnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mårdaklev from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 42 in the game by Oskar Knutsson from a close distance when the talented Einar Björnberg managed to make a qualified save. Mårdaklev's players were relieved. Nils-Åke Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Britz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urban Martinsson made a kick off. The Brålanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Åke Sandberg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Brålanda booed when Mårdaklev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Fabian Billvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mårdaklev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brålanda the free kick. Fabian Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Mårdaklev got a freekick which was hit by Carl Britz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mårdaklev had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
