Fabian Stål made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Olenberg in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Vemdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Fridlund came free, but Fabian Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Grep hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Bo Olenberg came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Visseltofta RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Olenberg couldn't finish the play. Fabian Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fabian Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fridlund in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Vemdalen's Fabian Stål got control of the ball when Bo Olenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ingemar Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Olof Gudmundsson's late challenge caught a Vemdalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Visseltofta RK's Jan-Olof Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Visseltofta RK's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Jonasson came free, but Evert Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linus Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fabian Stål tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Olenbergs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Fabian Stål to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Jonasson to make the kick off. Evert Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Vemdalen defense, Bo Olenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Stål. The Vemdalen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Stål should have stopped the shot. Fabian Stål didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Olenberg went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ingemar Grep's late challenge caught a Visseltofta RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Grep helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes into the match, Visseltofta RK's Linus Fridlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Stål narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bo Olenberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fabian Stål didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visseltofta RK. In the 74th minute of the match Sune Fernström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Stål skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute, Morgan Jonasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evert Juhlin. The goal made the score 3-2. Evert Juhlin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Magne Trillkott sent off a good shot on target. When Ingemar Grep was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. The supporters of Visseltofta RK booed when Vemdalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludvig Viklund, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 87th match minute, Vemdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Svanström to maneuver through the defense. Bo Olenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Stål. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Olenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fridlund in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Stål saved Vemdalen from getting behind. Fabian Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Linus Fridlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vemdalen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Visseltofta RK.
