Bullaren's Ingvar Stenqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pettans Gamla Gubbar's zone, Andreas Lundblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Fristedt came out of the goal and Andreas Lundblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Bertil Flink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bullaren's Rickard Persson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. William Friberger, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Christian Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bullaren's protests and gave Christian Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. William Friberger was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Per-Arne Stenman made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bullaren getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erling Stenqvist hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Bullaren's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Lustig came free, but Georg Holmstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eskil Fristedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Lundblad in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Andreas Lundblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andreas Lundblad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eskil Fristedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Bullaren left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pettans Gamla Gubbar.
