Sune Fernström hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Per-Arne Stenman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 4 minutes, Per-Arne Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pettans Gamla Gubbar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Stenman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Linus Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eskil Fristedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reine Säfström fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pettans Gamla Gubbar's protests and gave Reine Säfström a yellow card for diving instead. Reine Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Fridlund came free, but Eskil Fristedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Pettans Gamla Gubbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Bo Olenberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Eskil Fristedt. Eskil Fristedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eskil Fristedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Olenberg in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Fridlund came free, but Eskil Fristedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Visseltofta RK's Evert Juhlin got control of the ball when Edwin Lustig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eskil Fristedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Fridlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Reine Säfström got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fridlund in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eskil Fristedt saved Pettans Gamla Gubbar from getting behind. After having played for 38 minutes, Linus Fridlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 40th minute Bo Olenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Fristedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pettans Gamla Gubbar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reine Säfström hit a great ball. After 46 minutes of play, Visseltofta RK's Linus Fridlund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Fristedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Linus Fridlund made the kick off in the second half. If Edwin Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fridlund in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eskil Fristedt saved Pettans Gamla Gubbar from getting behind. After having played for 61 minutes, Bo Olenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visseltofta RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Olenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Pettans Gamla Gubbar's goalkeeper Eskil Fristedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Olenberg. Sune Fernström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. William Friberger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evert Juhlin. Visseltofta RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Eskil Fristedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Pettans Gamla Gubbar from getting a goal against them. Eskil Fristedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Bo Olenberg took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eskil Fristedt. Eskil Fristedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Visseltofta RK's Linus Fridlund got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eskil Fristedt made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jan-Olof Gudmundsson sent off a good shot on target. Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Eskil Fristedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Fridlund in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Per-Arne Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Evert Juhlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Pettans Gamla Gubbar's zone, Linus Fridlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Fristedt came out of the goal and Linus Fridlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Olenberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 95th playminute. Visseltofta RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
