In the 25th minute, Per-Arne Stenman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Edgar Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Fristedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes Pettans Gamla Gubbar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Alberg who took care of the corner kick. Edgar Arvidsson made a great header on towers's corner, it was just that Pettans Gamla Gubbar's Eskil Fristedt managed to reach the ball for a save. Jan-Åke Askelöf might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Fristedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Askelöf ran back to his position shaking his head. Edwin Lustig struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Olov Täman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pettans Gamla Gubbar. After 45 minutes of play, towers's Jan-Åke Askelöf made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Arvidsson was the one to do the kick off. Eskil Fristedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Arvidsson in the 62nd minute of the match. Jan-Åke Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Fristedt having to interfere.
