In the 14th minute, Marcus Abrahamsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Olov Täman, passed just outside the right post. When Edgar Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the towers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes, towers's Erling Rang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Dalkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in towers reached it. After 27 minutes, Benjamin Brogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the towers and the Djursholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Herman Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djursholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Gråberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Täman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dalkvist having to interfere. Sten Britz scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Dalkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rune Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Marcus Abrahamsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 50th of the match, Marcus Abrahamsson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Olov Täman got in the way and made a wonderful save. The Djursholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. towers were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Arvidsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Arvidsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Dalkvist. That made the score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. Djursholm's David Dalkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Djursholm from getting a goal against them. Rune Grubb hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tony Lundqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olov Täman. towers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olov Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Abrahamsson in the 92nd minute of play. towers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
