An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Thedin in the 25th minute of play forced Pettans Gamla Gubbar's goalkeeper Eskil Fristedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Öfverman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Stenman in the 28th minute of play. Birger Öfverman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Stenman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, FC Olja's Pär Hellqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Stenman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Edwin Lustig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pettans Gamla Gubbar's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Lustig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Öfverman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Arne Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
