After some careless play in the Bullaren defense, Edgar Arvidsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Holmstedt. The Bullaren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Holmstedt should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes, Christian Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bullaren and the towers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of towers booed when Bullaren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ingvar Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bullaren's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Täman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Ingvar Stenqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Täman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Sten Britz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. towers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bullaren the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Lundblad in the 30th minute of play forced towers's goalkeeper Olov Täman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, towers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Grubb to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Stenqvist in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Täman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in towers's zone, Rickard Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Täman came out of the goal and Rickard Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olov Täman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Stenqvist's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Andreas Lundblad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Täman. towers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Lundblad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Persson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Bullaren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Persson to maneuver through the defense. The towers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bullaren were winning 1-2.

Ingvar Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Olov Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andreas Lundblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bullaren booed when towers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Britz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Täman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingvar Stenqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. Ingvar Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Olov Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andreas Lundblad came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Bullaren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Lundblad couldn't finish the play. After 76 minutes, Andreas Lundblad made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. towers's Olov Täman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 minutes, Rune Grubb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the towers and the Bullaren players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rune Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Olsson, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. towers's Olov Täman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save towers from getting a goal against them. After having played for 92 minutes, Jan-Åke Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. towers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Askelöf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Åke Askelöf struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Georg Holmstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for towers. Bullaren's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
