André Stålman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Kalle Blanck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robert Lidman's late challenge caught a FC Brutalitet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Lidman helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Ahlroht in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Söderqwist saved Övertorneå IF from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, André Stålman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Övertorneå IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Kjell Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Ahlroht in the 29th minute of play forced Övertorneå IF's goalkeeper Kjell Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Kurt Västerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Övertorneå IF and the FC Brutalitet players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Brutalitet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Övertorneå IF got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Olsson. Tobias Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kjell Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Harry Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brutalitet's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Kruuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Söderqwist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute of the match Tony Hjälm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell Söderqwist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Övertorneå IF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nicklas Petersson hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Oscar Vallmark shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell Söderqwist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Ahlroht got free with Kjell Söderqwist in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Övertorneå IF's Kjell Söderqwist got control of the ball when Harry Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Ahlroht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
