After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jens-Ola Brandin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandsbyn BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ola Brandin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Ola Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Kullander having to interfere. If Villiam Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Lars Kullander got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! hanging dry this time. Eric Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Abelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Calle Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gustav Rolfsson hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Pettersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Tandsbyn BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Brolin came free, but Eric Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tandsbyn BK's Eric Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Pettersson in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Villiam Lidberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
