Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivar Hedström got the match started through his kick off. When Freddie Larsfält came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Berghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie Larsfält couldn't finish the play. Karl-Oskar Browall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joar Alrot having to make a save. Freddie Larsfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Berghem's zone, Bror Björkkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Holmberg came out of the goal and Bror Björkkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Berghem got a freekick which was hit by Dag Forsberg. 16 minutes into the game, Jonsered BF's Bror Björkkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Hedström in the 22nd minute of play forced Berghem's goalkeeper Bengt Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Bengt Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Björkkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Sven-Edvin Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddie Larsfält kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joar Alrot. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Ivar Hedström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bengt Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bror Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddie Larsfält stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joar Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Larsfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Berghem's Lars Öman tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Berghem's Bengt Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Hedström in the 73rd minute of play. If Ivar Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bror Björkkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonsered BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Björkkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Hedström struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bengt Holmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonsered BF. Karl-Oskar Browall struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Joar Alrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berghem. After a rather tough play, Jonsered BF's Allan Bergfelt got a free kick in the 88th minute. Karl-Oskar Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joar Alrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Browall, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sven-Edvin Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Alrot having to interfere. If Freddie Larsfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Berghem were the better team. Berghem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
