Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Timmy Vase started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Särna's Timmy Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Timmy Vase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Charles Landin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Åström in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Westerstrand saved Hofors IK from getting behind. If Timmy Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hofors IK's zone, Max Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Westerstrand came out of the goal and Max Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Max Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Westerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Timmy Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Harry Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Max Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Max Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Harry Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hofors IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Särna were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Åström to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Hofors IK's goalkeeper Harry Westerstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Eklund. Timmy Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Vase in the 58th minute of play forced Särna's goalkeeper Charles Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Timmy Vase made a precise shot to the right of Charles Landin. Särna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Ian Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hofors IK's protests and gave Ian Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Åström in the 78th minute of play forced Hofors IK's goalkeeper Harry Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Westerstrand having to interfere. Max Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hofors IK's Harry Westerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Hofors IK from getting a goal against them. Hofors IK's Harry Westerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Åström in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Särna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hofors IK throughout the match.
