In the 11th match minute, Gefle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Sander to maneuver through the defense. When Egil Asklöv came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Athletic Club Boca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Asklöv couldn't finish the play. Tommy Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Hake in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Egil Asklöv got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Anders Hake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gefle FC's Tommy Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Athletic Club Boca's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Sigfridsson came free, but Aaron Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sören Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sören Lindström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Ingvar Sigfridsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egil Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lind having to interfere. Sören Lindström hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zebastian Ahlfors to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Ahlfors got free with Aaron Berg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Egil Asklöv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Lind having to make a save. If Ingvar Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Zebastian Ahlfors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gefle FC's Ingvar Sigfridsson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
