Åsa IF's Georg Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Söderberg in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kalle Kjellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Elg was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Eric Stål charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Stål the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Gårdsjö FF got a freekick which was hit by Eric Stål. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elof Lundblad got free with Verner Vallmark in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gårdsjö FF's Dick Söderqvist got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th match minute, Gårdsjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Gårdsjö FF's Verner Vallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Apelquist in the 32nd minute of play. Kalle Kjellqvist struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Georg Elg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gårdsjö FF. 36 minutes into the game, Birger Runberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsa IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gårdsjö FF the free kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Kalle Kjellqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsa IF's Georg Elg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birger Runberg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Söderberg in the 44th minute of play forced Åsa IF's goalkeeper Georg Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Henry Söderberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Henry Söderberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Georg Elg. The goal made the score 0-2. Joakim Malm's late challenge caught a Åsa IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Malm helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gårdsjö FF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joakim Malm hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Åsa IF's Konrad Biörk in action when he in the 67th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Verner Vallmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Apelquist in the 69th minute of the match. Gårdsjö FF's Verner Vallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Apelquist in the 71st minute of play. Albert Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Wilhelm Apelquist came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Åsa IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Apelquist couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, one of Gårdsjö FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gårdsjö FF. Verner Vallmark had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Sune Hedberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Karl-Oskar Dalgren fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsa IF's protests and gave Karl-Oskar Dalgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Karl-Oskar Dalgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Kalle Kjellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gårdsjö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalle Kjellqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Vallmark having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gårdsjö FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
