Lennart Sundén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Svanskog's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Sjögren came free, but Lennart Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Svanskog booed when Vagnhärad IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Svanskog's Viggo Lundin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Anselius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Svanskog reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as George Hult kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Anselius. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Lind in the 33rd minute of play forced Svanskog's goalkeeper Lennart Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Vagnhärad IK's goal looked a bit too open when George Hult came free, but Daniel Anselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Bertil Sjögren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Sundén. Svanskog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Sjögren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Daniel Anselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Isaksson in the 45th minute. Daniel Anselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Svanskog got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Sandwall. If Joar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaj Wahlström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lennart Sundén came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Wahlström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 58th minute. Bertil Sjögren kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Svanskog's keeper Lennart Sundén was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Joar Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lennart Sundén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Anselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Bengtsson in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Svanskog's George Hult made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Anselius was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Patrik Isaksson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Vagnhärad IK's Daniel Anselius. Daniel Anselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joar Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Bertil Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagnhärad IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Svanskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Vagnhärad IK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Isaksson came free, but Daniel Anselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Sundén acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Inge Algren. Vagnhärad IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
