When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Johnny Dahlberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daniel Anselius to make any attempt to save it. 9 minutes into the game, Jörn Sjöberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Anselius. Jörn Sjöberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Sjöberg in the 15th minute of play forced Vagnhärad IK's goalkeeper Daniel Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Jörn Sjöberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Anselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Michael Jakobsson's late challenge caught a Vagnhärad IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vagnhärad IK booed when VFB Stuttgart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 minutes of play VFB Stuttgart's Michael Jakobsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Michael Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sixten Hylander kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Vagnhärad IK booed when VFB Stuttgart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Asklöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Åke Blomquist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Bertil Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jörn Sjöberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Daniel Anselius to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th minute, Sixten Hylander made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Anselius. Vagnhärad IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bertil Sjögren to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Vagnhärad IK's Jens-Åke Blomquist made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harry Bock was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, VFB Stuttgart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Anselius came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by VFB Stuttgart's Sixten Hylander. But to his dismay, Sixten Hylander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. With a little luck, VFB Stuttgart's Harry Bock got control of the ball when Jens-Åke Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Bock didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vagnhärad IK's Bertil Sjögren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84th minute Sixten Hylander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixten Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Blomquist got free with Harry Bock in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VFB Stuttgart's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
