Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Svanskog's George Hult got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, George Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svanskog's supporters rose to their feet, but George Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Lundkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Österberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rune Lundkvist. Preben BoIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Preben BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Vallengren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Isaksson got free with Rune Lundkvist in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Hult received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rune Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preben BoIS's Rune Lundkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Preben BoIS from getting a goal against them. If George Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Svanskog's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Hansson came free, but Lennart Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Preben BoIS were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Svanskog's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mårten Eriksson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mårten Eriksson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennart Sundén quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 57 minutes into the game, Mårten Eriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preben BoIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svanskog the free kick. The supporters of Svanskog booed when Preben BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preben BoIS's Rune Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Isaksson in the 59th minute of play. George Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Kjellberg charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Kjellberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Preben BoIS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ian Kjellberg hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Svanskog's Patrik Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Lundkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Preben BoIS's Ian Kjellberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Ian Kjellberg off the ground. Claes Hansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart Sundén having to make a save. In the 93rd match minute, Svanskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Nordström to maneuver through the defense. Preben BoIS's Rune Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Isaksson in the 97th minute of play.
