Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josef Wenerdahl kicked off to start the match. Svante Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Wenerdahl in the 3rd minute of the match. Josef Wenerdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Svante Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christer Fredriksson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortaleza IF's protests and gave Christer Fredriksson a yellow card for diving instead. Christer Fredriksson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With 17 minutes on the clock, Christer Fredriksson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Fortaleza IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tigers FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Hake in the 25th minute of play forced Fortaleza IF's goalkeeper Michael Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakarias Lenberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Tingelholm having to interfere. Sakarias Lenberg took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svante Ekström. Svante Ekström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Michael Tingelholm was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Christoffer Hake capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoffer Hake really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Michael Tingelholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffer Hake's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Jens-Åke Arvidsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Michael Tingelholm made a huge save.

After having played for 57 minutes, Jens-Åke Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Arvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Tingelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Hake in the 65th minute of play. Jens-Åke Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Valentin Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Bergkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Åke Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Jens-Åke Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björn Jonsson's late challenge caught a Fortaleza IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fortaleza IF's Michael Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Arvidsson in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tigers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fortaleza IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
