Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Älvängen's Stellan Klack started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Älvängen's zone, Staffan Vennerlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Törnqvist came out of the goal and Staffan Vennerlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Urban Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Älvängen's Christian Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ekström in the 7th minute of play. Elias Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Axel Wennersten came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Älvängen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Wennersten couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes of play, Älvängen's Stellan Klack made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Östen Jonasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ekström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Törnqvist. Gabriel Ekström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Gabriel Ekström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christian Törnqvist, passed just outside the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Älvängen's goalkeeper Christian Törnqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Staffan Vennerlund. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Christian Törnqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 2-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Gabriel Ekström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Staffan Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christian Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Ludwig Andersson put in a rough tackle. 48 minutes into the game, one of Lotorp:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Axel Wennersten in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Östen Jonasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Wennersten got free with Östen Jonasson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Staffan Vennerlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lotorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Älvängen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
