Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sune Lilja in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Jakobsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Karl-Erik Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stugun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Erik Pedersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricochets FC's Jan-Ove Rydelius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Pedersson in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ricochets FC's Henrik Kullander got a free kick in the 39th minute. Karl-Erik Pedersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Ove Rydelius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Stugun supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stugun would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
