David Grubb made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Mats Månsson sent off a good shot on target. Visby's Ian Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Njurenius in the 16th minute of play. Petter Lindström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Visby's Bror Söderström got a free kick in the 19th minute. Visby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jack Bergkvist came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Visby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Bergkvist couldn't finish the play. Magne Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jack Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visby's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Ian Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Moheda IF booed when Visby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. David Grubb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Jack Bergkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
