Karl-Axel Häger might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viggo Jonasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Axel Häger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Vilhelm Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vagnhärad's zone, Vilhelm Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Lind came out of the goal and Vilhelm Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Magnusson in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fjärdsjömåla AIF's zone, Pär Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Jonasson came out of the goal and Pär Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Karl-Axel Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagnhärad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Häger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, William Classon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vagnhärad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjärdsjömåla AIF the free kick. William Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Vilhelm Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilhelm Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Magnusson in the 85th minute of play forced Vagnhärad's goalkeeper Hugo Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vagnhärad's Pär Wall in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
