In the 30th minute, Henrik Rudqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 35th match minute, Andralaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Fransson to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes, Germania FC's Sven-Oskar Bammerman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickard Josefsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germania FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Spetz during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Andralaget getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Erik Spetz hit a great ball. Ove Klintæus, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mattias Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Josefsson having to interfere. If Björn Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Ingemar Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Germania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Billström came free, but Ingemar Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Gilbert Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Sven-Edvin Fransson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingemar Göransson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Peder Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andralaget's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Billström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingemar Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Rudqvist scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Josefsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germania FC's Ingemar Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Bivall in the 83rd minute of play. Peder Billström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andralaget's Krister Bivall got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Bivall in the 89th minute of play forced Germania FC's goalkeeper Ingemar Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Andralaget's zone, Gilbert Vallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Josefsson came out of the goal and Gilbert Vallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Elliot Åkerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ingemar Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Germania FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
