The crowd rose to their feet as Max Linqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Palm. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Frans Tunström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Roland Palm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Herrljunga's Max Linqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Palm. That made the score 3-0 after 22 minutes of play. Hermes Gobbar's Roland Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Linqvist in the 26th minute of play. Ingvar Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Bjursell, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Roland Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Linqvist in the 31st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Linqvist was the one to do the kick off. Ingvar Ekberg made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ulf Lövgren sent off a good shot on target. Roland Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Linqvist in the 57th minute of the match. If Max Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frans Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Roland Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Tunström in the 70th minute of play forced Hermes Gobbar's goalkeeper Roland Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Frans Tunström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Palm. Hermes Gobbar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frans Tunström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some careless play in the Hermes Gobbar defense, Frans Tunström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland Palm. The Hermes Gobbar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Palm should have stopped the shot. Ingvar Ekberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Karl-Oskar Bjursell sent off a good shot on target. If Max Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Tunström in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Hermes Gobbar's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Tunström came free, but Roland Palm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Hermes Gobbar's Karl-Oskar Bjursell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Ekberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Herrljunga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Linqvist to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Herrljunga were the better team. Herrljunga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
