In the 12th minute of the match Partizan Edsgarn got a corner. Larsberg IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bo Lindblom ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Partizan Edsgarn booed when Larsberg IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Skröder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Grep having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Larsberg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Helander came free, but Henry Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Larsberg IF's zone, Michael Helander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Grep came out of the goal and Michael Helander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Michael Helander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henry Grep. The goal made the score 1-0.

The wind increased when Michael Helander made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bo Lindblom made a precise shot to the right of Henry Grep. Larsberg IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Larsberg IF defense, Bo Lindblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Grep. The Larsberg IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Grep should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Olov Bokelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larsberg IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Partizan Edsgarn the free kick. Olov Bokelund hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Partizan Edsgarn's Olof Bengtsson in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Olof Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Grep having to interfere. Henry Grep didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Nordlund went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Bo Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Helander, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Henry Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Helander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Ingvar Skröder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
