Hermes Gobbar's Robin Myhr suffered a concussion in the 32nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 32 minutes, Pontus Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagbab FC and the Hermes Gobbar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Sagbab FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th play minute Karl-Oskar Bjursell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edmund Lindqvist. 1-0. Roland Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Fredriksson in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Karl-Oskar Bjursell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermes Gobbar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Ove Sundén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pontus Fredriksson made a kick off. Karl-Oskar Bjursell struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Edmund Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermes Gobbar. After a rather tough play, Sagbab FC's Albin Lundin got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Karl-Oskar Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Lennart Dahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Kleen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmund Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Bjursell in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Hermes Gobbar booed when Sagbab FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Lindqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Oskar Bjursell's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The supporters of Sagbab FC booed when Hermes Gobbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Lövgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Oskar Bjursell might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Lindqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Oskar Bjursell ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sagbab FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Patrik Jönsson hit a great ball.
