Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) Tage Friberger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Österbymo's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Vennerlund came free, but Jonas Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Österbymo got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ålberg. Max Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Emanuel Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sten Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Max Kvick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Forsberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sten Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Emanuel Skoglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Österbymo. Sten Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emanuel Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Ove Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jonas Sjögren made a huge save. Sten Lindqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Skoglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Lindqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Max Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Inge Walmarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Max Kvick made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ingatorp booed when Österbymo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Emander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Friberger in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Österbymo's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Eriksson came free, but Jonas Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Sten Lindqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Österbymo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Ingatorp getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Peder Hansson hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Österbymo's Sten Lindqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Skoglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sten Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Friberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ingatorp's zone, Sten Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Skoglund came out of the goal and Sten Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Eric Vennerlund notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Österbymo's Jonas Sjögren. Jonas Sjögren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Max Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Österbymo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
