Kurt Västberg was a little too slow when Arne Ivarsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Sven-Ove Åberg made the kick off in the second half. Agne Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Kurt Västberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emil Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vederslövs if's protests and gave Emil Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Vederslövs if got a freekick which was hit by Emil Blomqvist. Kurt Västberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Vennerlund in the 78th minute of the match. Georg Vennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Västberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Ivarsson in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marko Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Västberg having to interfere. Arne Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Ivarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Västberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play.
