Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5477, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Valentin Kruuse started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lucas Salqvist's late challenge caught a Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Salqvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Kovland IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Salqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Valentin Kruuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Holm was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Valentin Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Nordgren kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kovland IF's goalkeeper Jonas Holm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Evert Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Höijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Ödman having to interfere. Andy Nordgren struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Kennet Ödman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovland IF. After 32 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Albert Henriksson. Evert Höijer took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kennet Ödman. Kennet Ödman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Albert Henriksson scored 2-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Holm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Holm made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sven-Edvin Lundberg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Evert Höijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kovland IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Evert Höijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kennet Ödman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kennet Ödman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Höijer to make the kick off. Christian Vennerkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Kruuse in the 55th minute of play forced Kovland IF's goalkeeper Jonas Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennet Ödman made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Evert Grelsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Evert Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Albert Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play, Kovland IF's Evert Grelsson made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kennet Ödman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, one of Kovland IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kovland IF. Jonas Holm went to the wrong direction when Tommy Igelström was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Valentin Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Holm having to interfere. After having played for 99 minutes, Albert Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kovland IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
