Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a defensive mix-up in Ytterhogdal IF's zone, Edgar Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Lundberg came out of the goal and Edgar Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute of the match Kåre Finman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arvin Lundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anton Hellkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Hellkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Ytterhogdal IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgar Rolfsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ytterhogdal IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vidar Möllgren 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Henric Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvin Lundberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vidar Möllgren's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henric Boklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidar Möllgren struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arvin Lundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillared. Vidar Möllgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Lundberg having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, one of Ytterhogdal IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 69 played minutes Hillared got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Wallman. In the 74th minute, Stig-Arne Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Ytterhogdal IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Rolfsson came free, but Arvin Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgar Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ytterhogdal IF defense, Vidar Möllgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Lundberg. The Ytterhogdal IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Lundberg should have stopped the shot. Edgar Rolfsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvin Lundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Rolfsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Fredrik Wallman made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Lundberg. Ytterhogdal IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Samuel Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Aronsson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hillared had won after a very even match.
