In the 25th minute Lars Säf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tord Kjellkvist struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jerry Abrahamsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Docksta. Lars Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Sundberg having to interfere. Anton Finsberg's late challenge caught a Docksta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Finsberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kobe United's Anton Finsberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jerry Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Kjellkvist in the 40th minute of play. Tord Kjellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Åkesson got free with Knut Sundberg in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Knut Sundberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Kjellkvist was the one to do the kick off. Knut Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Säf in the 60th minute of the match. Knut Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. If Tord Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kobe United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
