Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt-Rune Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jens-Ove Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Ove Klint, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Cobran´s BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Ekeroth came free, but Jens-Ove Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Persson in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Klint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kvänum RK's Bengt-Åke Ekeroth in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobran´s BK's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Kvänum RK booed when Cobran´s BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Cobran´s BK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Valrot. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cobran´s BK! Arman Vacker walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bengt-Rune Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Klint having to interfere. A collision led to Kvänum RK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Persson hit a great ball. Cobran´s BK's Jens-Ove Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Ekeroth in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Kvänum RK's Bengt-Rune Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ove Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ove Klint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Persson in the 44th minute of play forced Cobran´s BK's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Cobran´s BK got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Stenqvist. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ove Klint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Agne Aronsson made the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Rune Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Ove Klint made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bengt-Åke Ekeroth sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Mellin during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kvänum RK's Jan Mellin got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bengt-Åke Ekeroth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ove Klint when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Ekeroth lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Jens-Ove Klint. After 85 played minutes Cobran´s BK got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Qvalfeldt. After 86 played minutes Kvänum RK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Ekeroth. Lars-Erik Palmkvist's late challenge caught a Kvänum RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars-Erik Palmkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Lars-Erik Palmkvist hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Klint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Klint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Ekeroth in the 91st minute. Bernt Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Mellin having to interfere. If Bengt-Åke Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Kvänum RK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cobran´s BK.
