Sixten Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Helberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixten Strand went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Per-Åke Valström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sixten Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Helberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Strand in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixten Strand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Klimpfjäll's Åke Helberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Klimpfjäll from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixten Strand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Åke Helberg. That made the score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. Rolfstorp's Sixten Strand got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Sixten Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Per-Åke Valström could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Åke Helberg however easily saved by the left post. Kristoffer Gerdberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Åke Helberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Helberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Fredric Skark sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Helberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Klimpfjäll's goalkeeper Åke Helberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Helberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Åke Valström in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Sixten Strand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolfstorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Strand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Helberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
