One of Skoghall FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Melings ILF:s goal. 6 minutes into the game, Melings ILF's Torbjörn Wahlström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Sven Collin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Andreasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Filip Öman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tobias Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skoghall FK. Christian Lundqvist hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Skoghall FK's Filip Öman in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melings ILF's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Filip Öman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skoghall FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Öman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven Collin took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Andreasson. Karl Andreasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 27th minute Sture Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Fransson's late challenge caught a Melings ILF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. Christer Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Torbjörn Wahlström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Skoghall FK's Karl Andreasson didn't even have to move. When Isak Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Melings ILF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Berggren couldn't finish the play. Tobias Billberg came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Skoghall FK's Sture Odén. But to his dismay, Sture Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Skoghall FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Melings ILF were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Sven Collin made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petter Stenman during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Melings ILF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Stenman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Melings ILF's zone, Sture Odén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Billberg came out of the goal and Sture Odén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isak Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Sven Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Palmkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Palmkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Skoghall FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. If Filip Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melings ILF's Tobias Billberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Öman in the 78th minute of play. During the 79th minute of the match Elias Palmkvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elias Palmkvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th match minute, Skoghall FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. Karl Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Berggren in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute of the match Ingemar Hellkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Billberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Sture Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Berggren in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Melings ILF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
