Karl-Axel Säfström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Lennart Myhr 34 minutes into the match. Märsta RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Axel Säfström made a kick off. Sven Albohm's late challenge caught a Ravund Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ludwig Alstedt came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ravund Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Alstedt couldn't finish the play. Ravund Fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Märsta RK had won, even though Ravund Fc had held more of the ball.
