Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mathias Östman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Östman in the 9th minute of play forced Märsta RK's goalkeeper Modesto Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Märsta RK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Rönn. 12 minutes into the match, Svanskog's Mathias Östman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Iratxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Axel Säfström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kåre Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Gilbert Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svanskog's Kåre Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Säfström in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Frans Öfverman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frans Öfverman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Iratxo having to interfere. Gilbert Åström charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Åström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Märsta RK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gilbert Åström hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Mathias Östman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Modesto Iratxo, 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Märsta RK's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Östman came free, but Modesto Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Axel Säfström to make the kick off. Mathias Östman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Iratxo having to interfere. The supporters of Märsta RK booed when Svanskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Svanskog getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Magnus Dahlberg hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Märsta RK got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Åström. Kåre Isaksson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Karl-Axel Säfström sent off a good shot on target. When Tobias Åström fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svanskog's protests and gave Tobias Åström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Svanskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Åström to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Axel Säfström in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Isaksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Svanskog defense, Karl-Axel Säfström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kåre Isaksson. The Svanskog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kåre Isaksson should have stopped the shot. Svanskog were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
