That made the score 0-1 after 62 minutes of play. 69 minutes into the game, Lofsdalen IK's Alfons Hökkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Lindblom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mark Hybbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Lindblom having to make a save. Kevin Arvidsson's late challenge caught a Gällivare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
