Albin Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Christian Moberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Skällinge IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Wållander, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Christian Moberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Österlund hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Niklas Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Söderström in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Tommy Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älvkarleby FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Evert Wållander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Söderström in the 22nd minute of play forced Skällinge IK's goalkeeper Niklas Löv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evert Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens-Åke Benett hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Tommy Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Niklas Löv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albin Apelqvist came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Skällinge IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Apelqvist couldn't finish the play. Allan Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Christian Moberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Skällinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Odén.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albin Apelqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Moberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Apelqvist in the 54th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Älvkarleby FK got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Larsson. Christian Moberg came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Skällinge IK's Allan Alströmer. But to his dismay, Allan Alströmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Evert Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Apelqvist took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Moberg. Christian Moberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tommy Söderström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niklas Löv saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Bo-Erik Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvkarleby FK's protests and gave Bo-Erik Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Bo-Erik Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albin Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Niklas Löv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Älvkarleby FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Knut Skräddare was slow to take the kick. During this time Skällinge IK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Knut Skräddare got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Moberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skällinge IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Älvkarleby FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
