Arman Gabrielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Douglas Ryberg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Vallhamn's Marc Larsson. Marc Larsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The nice shot from Douglas Ryberg in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marc Larsson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Marc Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Nordin in the 40th minute of the match. Ingvar Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Larsson having to interfere. Fritz Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Gabrielsson in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Vasalund getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vincent Weber hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Douglas Ryberg made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vallhamn's zone, Douglas Ryberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Larsson came out of the goal and Douglas Ryberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Ingvar Nordin made a precise shot to the right of Marc Larsson. Vallhamn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The supporters of Vasalund booed when Vallhamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Kjellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arman Gabrielsson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vallhamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arman Gabrielsson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Vasalund's Fritz Lindholm got control of the ball when Arman Gabrielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Douglas Ryberg notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Vallhamn's Marc Larsson. Marc Larsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Douglas Ryberg sped through Vallhamn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Larsson. Vasalund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
