Mikael Bivall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Bivall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Göransson in the 18th minute of the match. When Börje Örn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the R.madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Örn couldn't finish the play. Orvar Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Bivall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Edvin Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Bivall having to interfere. With his leg Mikael Bivall managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Braås's Edvin Åberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Börje Örn made the kick off in the second half. Mikael Bivall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. R.madrid's Mikael Bivall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Göransson in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edvin Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Bivall was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Orvar Göransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Braås had played much better football throughout.
