Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nils Felin kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Wallman got free with Ulf Ek in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Niklas Nord fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lepportivo La Coruña's protests and gave Niklas Nord a yellow card for diving instead. Niklas Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Valla's Zebastian Öman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Lindkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valla reached it. Niklas Nord got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 12th match minute, Lepportivo La Coruña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Nord to maneuver through the defense. Sven Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ek having to interfere. Ludwig Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Nils Felin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lepportivo La Coruña's Jonas Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Biörkman in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Lepportivo La Coruña got a freekick which was hit by Jens Öberg. Zebastian Öman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Lindkvist. Lepportivo La Coruña's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Oskar Lindberg during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valla's Karl-Oskar Lindberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pelle Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ulf Ek made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sven Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lepportivo La Coruña's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Wallman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Smefeldt scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pontus Smefeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ek having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Wallman was the one to do the kick off. Sven Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ek having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Lindberg was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th match minute, Valla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Pontus Smefeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lepportivo La Coruña and the Valla players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lepportivo La Coruña getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Pontus Smefeldt hit a great ball. If Pelle Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, one of Valla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valla. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Lepportivo La Coruña. Sven-Erik Forssell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ulf Ek. 3-0. Otto Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Ek having to interfere. If Sven Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lepportivo La Coruña's Sven Wallman in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valla's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Pelle Gunnarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ulf Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lepportivo La Coruña getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pontus Smefeldt hit a great ball. Lepportivo La Coruña's Pelle Gunnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Jonas Lindkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Valla's Stig-Åke Biörkman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. There was no doubt that Lepportivo La Coruña were the better team. Lepportivo La Coruña's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
