Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Algot Ståhlman got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, SpVgg Sauerkraut's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Örtendal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Stålberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Stålberg got free with Jan-Olof Örtendal in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bertil Åkerström came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SpVgg Sauerkraut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Åkerström couldn't finish the play. Algot Ståhlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jan-Olof Örtendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, SpVgg Sauerkraut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Grangärde's Algot Ståhlman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Olof Örtendal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Kim Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Asplund in the 31st minute of play forced Grangärde's goalkeeper Georg Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Algot Ståhlman in the 33rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jan-Olof Örtendal kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Axel Stålberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jan-Olof Örtendal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grangärde. If Algot Ståhlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Asplund was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Ståhlman in the 54th minute of play forced SpVgg Sauerkraut's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Örtendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Örtendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Stålberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute David Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Grangärde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Björk to maneuver through the defense. Axel Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Örtendal having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Algot Ståhlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grangärde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algot Ståhlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Olof Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Stålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Algot Ståhlman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grangärde's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Ståhlman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Olof Örtendal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes SpVgg Sauerkraut got a freekick which was hit by Björn Göransson. After 84 minutes, Alvin Örn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SpVgg Sauerkraut and the Grangärde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvin Örn kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Algot Ståhlman put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Olof Örtendal. SpVgg Sauerkraut's Jan-Olof Örtendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Ståhlman in the 90th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Algot Ståhlman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SpVgg Sauerkraut's Jan-Olof Örtendal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Axel Stålberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Grangärde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
