Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alf Haegg got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Blattnicksele FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Kinell to maneuver through the defense. Bertil Åkerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertil Åkerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Morgan Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Åkerström in the 14th minute of play forced Blattnicksele FK's goalkeeper Morgan Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SpVgg Sauerkraut's Tord Almkvist got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rikard Bolander kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Pilblad got free with Jan-Olof Örtendal in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute of the match, Eric Pilblad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan-Olof Örtendal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alf Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blattnicksele FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Haegg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Olof Örtendal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes, Rikard Bolander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blattnicksele FK and the SpVgg Sauerkraut players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rikard Bolander kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Morgan Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Asplund in the 40th minute of the match. Bertil Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Bertil Åkerström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Morgan Magnusson. The goal made the score 0-1. Bertil Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bertil Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Örtendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Pilblad in the 73rd minute of play. Morgan Magnusson was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and David Asplund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Asplund really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Alf Haegg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Olof Örtendal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Blattnicksele FK booed when SpVgg Sauerkraut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Haegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Örtendal having to interfere. Jan-Olof Örtendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Haegg in the 87th minute of play. David Asplund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Magnusson having to interfere.
