Joel Gummeson's late challenge caught a Turkiye Sk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gummeson helped the player get up and apologised. Håkan Skoog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikael Vacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Dalgren in the 15th minute of play. Marcus Fribäck kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mikael Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Mikael Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Joakim Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Skoog charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Skoog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Solberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Skoog to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joakim Dalgren in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Vacker saved Solberg from getting behind. Krister Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Krister Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkiye Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Bock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vacker having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krister Bock during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Turkiye Sk getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Krister Bock hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Ekeroth to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Solberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Eklund to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastian Ekeroth came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Solberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Ekeroth couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Håkan Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Skoog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Dalgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Joakim Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Solberg's Dennis Asklöv got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sebastian Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Krister Svanberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Ekeroth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krister Svanberg was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Mikael Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Håkan Skoog put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Krister Svanberg. 86 minutes into the match, Solberg's goalkeeper Mikael Vacker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Bock. Krister Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Håkan Skoog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turkiye Sk's Krister Svanberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Håkan Skoog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turkiye Sk's Krister Bock got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Joakim Dalgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mikael Vacker, 1-3. The Turkiye Sk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Turkiye Sk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
