Spectators: 7169 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boris Broberg started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Boris Broberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Högsby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millwall FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Högsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Broberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Högsby's David Gustavsson got control of the ball when Gustaf Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaf Olssons short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got David Gustavsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Högsby's David Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Magnusson in the 20th minute of play. Simon Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, David Gustavsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Simon Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Högsby's David Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Högsby from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Högsby's goalkeeper David Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Olsson. After a defensive mix-up in Högsby's zone, Simon Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Gustavsson came out of the goal and Simon Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Berg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Michael Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Bruhn in the 55th minute. Gustaf Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gustavsson having to interfere. In the 60th minute, one of Högsby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Högsby. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Millwall FC. Markus Tingelholm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving David Gustavsson. 3-0. In the 67th minute Gustaf Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Simon Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Millwall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Magnusson couldn't finish the play. David Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Olsson in the 77th minute of the match. Simon Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. David Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Magnusson in the 81st minute of play. David Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gustaf Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. David Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Magnusson in the 92nd minute of the match. Simon Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. David Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Millwall FC booed when Högsby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 102 minutes into the match, Högsby's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Magnusson came free, but David Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Millwall FC fully deserved thier win.
