Lunds Grillros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Nordström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Huddungeby IFK's Joachim Blomberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Lunds Grillros FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Wiklund came free, but Ivar Lidström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Stigsson's late challenge caught a Lunds Grillros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Stigsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Huddungeby IFK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Olof Stigsson hit a great ball. Kevin Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Huddungeby IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. Robert Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Rang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Huddungeby IFK's goalkeeper Emil Rang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Nordström. Emil Rang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Robert Holmgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Nordström was the one to do the kick off. Huddungeby IFK's Emil Rang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Holmgren in the 55th minute of play. Emil Rang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Nordström in the 59th minute of play. Inge Hellgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Kevin Nordström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunds Grillros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sten Olsman's late challenge caught a Huddungeby IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 73rd minute John Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Rang having to interfere. A collision led to Huddungeby IFK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Joachim Blomberg hit a great ball. Emil Rang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Nordström in the 84th minute of the match. Emil Rang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Nordström in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Rang saved Huddungeby IFK from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Lunds Grillros FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
