Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gösta Kleen got the match started through his kick off. Wictor Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Robin Sjö's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Anders Eliasson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 7th minute Stig Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Hedvall in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wictor Vester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Grillby FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tommy Löv hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Stig Vestberg rounded Grillby FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Gösta Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wictor Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Stigtomta Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Petersson to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Gösta Kleen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stigtomta Titans's Wictor Vester. Wictor Vester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Robin Sjö got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the game, Grillby FK's Gösta Kleen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Vester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Robin Sjö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Eliasson having to make a save. Grillby FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stig Vestberg 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. 45 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stigtomta Titans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grillby FK the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Stigtomta Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Petersson to maneuver through the defense. When Gösta Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Grillby FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Kleen couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Vestberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Wictor Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Hedvall struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Wictor Vester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grillby FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Kleen in the 58th minute of play forced Stigtomta Titans's goalkeeper Wictor Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Sven-Edvin Hedvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grillby FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Hedvall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wictor Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Kleen in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Tim Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bengt-Åke Classon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wictor Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anders Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Stigtomta Titans's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Edvin Hedvall fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Grillby FK's Anders Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Sjö in the 82nd minute of play. Robin Sjö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Eliasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Robin Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
