An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Malmgren in the 3rd minute of play forced Boden's goalkeeper Sverker Jespersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boden's Karl-Magnus Bergström got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Anders Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Boden booed when Ransäter RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Boden's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Söderquist came free, but Sverker Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ransäter RK's Ernst Malmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Hedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 23 minutes on the clock, Tomas Hermansson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Ransäter RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boden:s goal. With an all-out effort, Boden's Joar Albohm threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anders Hedin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Boden getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tord Lundkvist hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Ernst Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ransäter RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Malmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Ernst Malmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ransäter RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pär Ivarsson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jarl Utter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Malmgren made a kick off. Fritz Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Joar Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boden. Joar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Boden's Sverker Jespersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Boden from getting a goal against them. Karl-Magnus Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Ernst Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Boden's goalkeeper Sverker Jespersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boden's Sverker Jespersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Boden from getting a goal against them. Fritz Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joar Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Boden's Fritz Mårtensson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joar Albohm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Anders Hedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fritz Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boden's Emil Wiklund suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. Freddie Walroth charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddie Walroth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ransäter RK's Freddie Walroth got a free kick in the 94th minute. Karl-Magnus Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
